We collect invoice files (PDF/image), extracted text fields (vendor name, date, amount), and journal entry data that you create or approve within Ledgerly. We also collect your email address and account credentials for authentication.
Your data is used solely to operate the Ledgerly service — OCR processing, AI classification, journal entry generation, and export. We do not sell, share, or use your data to train third-party models without your explicit consent.
All data is stored in Japan (Tokyo region). Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. Data in transit is protected by TLS 1.3. Invoice files are processed by OCR and then stored encrypted.
OCR processing uses Google Cloud Vision API. AI classification uses the Anthropic Claude API. Both services are bound by their own data processing agreements and do not retain your data beyond the duration of the request.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may export all your data or permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy & Data. Deletion is irreversible and takes effect within 30 days.
